We went to see them at a great little venue called Lucerna Bar in Prague. It wasn't very well publicised, so although there was a reasonable crowd it wasn't packed by any means. This meant that although we were about 8 feet from the band (good) there wasn't really a mosh pit (not so good). The locals were more bouncy than anything, which was a bit odd. The music was fantastic, and they opened with 'over the wire'. Justin was singing his heart out as usual, and Nelson even looked like he was verging on enthusiastic at one point.
The venue was very small and intimate, so intimate in fact that after the gig, Justin came out and had a chat with people, and after a bit someone came and brought him his dinner, which we eventually let him go and eat. It was odd casually chatting to someone who delivers so much passion while on stage. We were sorry that Joolz wasn't there though, as she made a big impression on us at Beautiful Days.
I'm so glad we got it together to go. Ha, who says the hippies can't be (vaguely) practical!
